CHERRY CREEK RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB provides coaching and equipment for middle school and high school players. The BOYS UNDER 13 and BOYS UNDER 15 teams (birthdate of player as of May 1) have been very successful and players are instructed in the rules and skills of the game of rugby.
   Many of the Cherry Creek Rugby Football Club players have begun their rugby experience in the TRY League. The 7s format used in TRY is fast-paced, open field running game that new players learn quickly and enjoy. The TRY League is administered through Rugby Colorado and has grown to over 450 participants in 2010. Rugby Colorado is a state based organization sanctioned by USA Rugby, responsible for managing and promoting all youth and high school rugby in Colorado. The focus is on teaching new players the game of rugby and enjoying the camaraderie of a fun team sport. Practice starts Monday May 2 from 4:00-5:30pm Practices will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Village Greens Park, Field 11 . Games are on Saturdays May 21- June 25. The Try program fee for new players is $100. Players will receive shorts and socks. Game jerseys are provided by the club.
